🔥 5 Ways to NOT lose your mind in a noisy world
Sweating is therapy + say no.
The world is extremely noisy.
This is what keeps me sane.
↓
1 - I never do meetings in the morning.
After dropping off the kids at school I go for a short walk and then home.
(except for when I’m traveling or when I have meetings irl)
My mornings are for deep work.
Calls → After lunch
This is how I make the best use of my energy.

Fuelled by coffee ☕️
2 - I regularly use a sauna.

The benefits of regularly using a sauna makes it a no-brainer:
Better quality of life
Recovery for sore muscles
Detoxification
Increased metabolism and weight loss
Less muscle and joint pain
Skin health and graceful aging benefits
Improved sleep
Reduced stress.
I can’t recommend this enough.
Sweating IS therapy.
Buy one for your home or find a sauna you can use on a regular basis.
I have an infra-red sauna at home and use a traditional sauna at the gym.

3 - I build my personal brand.

Publishing content on LinkedIn changed everything for me.
Follow those steps everyday for 6-9 months.
It will change your life.
4 - I don’t work with difficult people.

During the last 3 years I’ve received thousands of inbound leads; DMs and emails.
If I sense that the person will be difficult to work with; I don’t work with them.
Every time I’ve ignored my gut feeling, I’ve ended up regretting it.
So, I stick to my “no-a**hole-policy”.
Just say NO.
It’s a liberating feeling.
And it has served me well.
It’s just not worth it.
Same thing goes with hiring:
I hire fast and fire fast.
If you break the trust given to you, I don’t give second chances.
5 - Gym and walking.
Last but not least:
Strength/weight training in the gym.
And lots of walking.
(everyday hustling chasing the 10K steps)

🧘♂️
Nature has a healing effect. I get some of my best ideas during walks.

Icy lake
Summer, autumns, winter or spring: I take long walks.

There is no better way to clear your mind.
Btw, I LOVED Dan Go’s latest newsletter edition:
This part especially made me LOL 😂:
“This is the ultimate "look at me suffer" type of exercise that adds money to physiotherapists' bank accounts.”
It’s got some good eye-openers for people over 40.
👉 Read the edition here.

These 5 things help me to tune of the noise out there and FOCUS.
Building our own "luck" is often just boring consistency over time.
What works for you?
Until next time,
Hanna
