🔥 A no-bullshit guide to scale your business

5 signs you're ready + another hotel recommendation?

In partnership with

I’ve been building my business for almost 3 years now.

The first year is always messy.

You sell your time, you try a bunch of different things.

You learn loads; what people are willing to pay you for, what the bottlenecks are in your business and where the growth potential is.

You also prove to yourself that you can sell yourself and your time.

That you can replace the salary you had when you worked for someone else.

And a lot of times earn more money than when you did before.

After a while you start to realise that you need to systemize your business, package things differently to earn more and get more time back.

So, how do you know when to scale your business?

I’ll teach you 5 signs that you are ready to scale your business.

…….but first 👇

Signs You're Ready to Scale your Business

  1. You're Turning Down Business 👎

If you're saying "no" to clients because you can't handle more, that's a big sign:

You're leaving money on the table.

  2. Revenue's Plateaued 😬

If your income's flatlining despite hard work, it's time to rethink your approach.

  3. Team's Maxed Out 😫

You OR your team's stretched thin.

You/they're good, but can't do it all.

It's time to outsource OR hire.

  4. Cash Flow's Great 💸

You're not just profitable; your money's moving.

Strong cash flow means you can handle the bumps ahead.

And can invest in outsourcing things that are not good use of your time / don’t enjoy doing.

  5. Systems Are in Place

    You've got processes that work.

They're repeatable and efficient. No more chaos.

You’ve gone through the above stage.

You got playbooks.

Documentation is in place 👍

When to Hold Off or Wait

  • Product-Market Fit's Unclear 😵‍💫

    Don't scale a product people aren't buying.

    Nail the product first.

    You’re looking for repeat business.

  • Cash Flow's Tight 🤏

If you're scraping by, scaling will just burn you out faster.

  • Team's Not Ready

If you or your team can't handle more, scaling will just add stress.

A lot of you appreciated the tips about Mas Salagros in my last newsletter edition.

So, here’s another fantastic place I highly recommend:

It’s located in the mountains.

It’s quite small with just a few rooms.

Surrounded by beautiful nature.

It’s one of those places you don’t want to leave.

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere.

You can feel nature all around you.

We saw a loooooot of (big) insects 🫣

They seemed to thrive.

Insane view.

Breathtaking sunsets.

One of my most viral posts were written when I stayed there (I’m never going back to an office again)

It was super hot when we were there…

The pool was so nice and cool.

5 out 5 ⭐️

Organic and delicious food.

The breakfast was INSANE.

I still remember that ginger shot.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place.

Everything was thought through in details.

They even had a tree inside the building.

I can highly recommend going there.

It’s one of the best hotels I've stayed at.

(I am not sponsored, just a very happy hotel guest - don’t worry: this newsletter won’t become a travel guide 😂)

👉 Smart Scaling Tips

  • Automate Where You Can

Use tools to handle repetitive tasks.

    Save your energy for growth.

  • Outsource Non-Essentials

Look, we can’t be great at everything.

    Example:

Some people shouldn’t do their own LinkedIn posts.

    Why?

Because they suck and most of all: they don’t convert to business. So it’s a waste of your time.

You should focus on what YOU do best:

Focus on what moves the needle.

    Delegate the rest.

  • Test Before You Invest

Try new ideas on a small scale before going big.

  • Building a Team Bring Onboard Contractors

You don’t need to hire people full-time.

To cost low, bring onboard contractors.

  • Systemize Your Business

Having a system will take so much off your plate.

    Everything runs better and smoother.

And you will have more headspace.

📌 Bottom Line

Scaling's not about working harder; it's about working smarter.

To do that you will need to zoom out and look at the bigger picture:

If you're turning down business, have a solid team, and your cash flow's steady, you're probably ready.

But if you're not sure, slow down and reassess.

Need help figuring it out?

I can help you:

- grow your business
- package your services
- handle operations efficiently

- systemize your business (build an ecosystem)
