We have so many new people joining us 👋 Welcome to everyone who signed up this week!

You’ve landed in the right place.

You’re among hungry builders who either already have a business, or are planning to start one.

You signed up because you’re building something:

A personal brand.
A newsletter.
A side business.
An offer.
A new path.

Or maybe you already have an established business and want to use your personal brand to create more inbound leads.

And maybe it feels slower than you expected.

Good.

That means you’re in the part nobody posts about:

The messy middle 🫠

The part where you’re working, but the results are still quiet.

  • The post gets 12 likes.

  • The newsletter gets 3 replies.

  • One post takes forever to write.

  • The numbers are too small to read properly.

  • Your positioning still feels unclear.

  • You wonder if your posts are useful to anyone.

  • You question what you’re selling.

  • Your confidence comes and goes.

This is where most people start doubting everything.

But slow doesn’t mean wrong. Slow often means you’re collecting reps.

Here’s what to do when growth feels painfully slow on LinkedIn.

1 - Stop judging too early

You can’t judge a personal brand from 5 posts.

Or a topic from one post.

Or a newsletter from 3 editions.

Or an offer from one quiet launch.

Try this first:

Write 30 posts.
Send 10 newsletters.
Talk to 10 potential buyers.
Send 20 thoughtful connection requests or DMs.
Comment on 30 people in your closest network.
Test one offer for 60 days.

Then evaluate.

Not before.

At this stage, the job is simple:

Collect reps improve daily.

Keep going long enough to have real data.

2 - Look for small wins (not applause or viral posts)

Likes are nice.

But better signs are:

  • People DM you.

  • People comment on your post.

  • People save the post.

  • People say “this is me.”

  • People thank you for posting what they needed to see today.

  • People ask how to work with you.

  • People join your newsletter.

  • People repeat your words back to you.

  • People tell you what they liked about the post.

👉 Reply to people.

Especially in the beginning.

Reply to DMs.
Reply to comments.
Start conversations.
Reach out and compliment their post or their banner.

Giving value will come back to you 10x.

These small wins matter.

Don’t ignore them. You need to go through this stage.

This is what “overnight success” looks like.

3 - Make the offer clearer

If people don’t understand what you help with, your content has nowhere to send them.

Hear me out.

Ask yourself:

  • Who do I help?

  • What problem do I solve?

  • What result do I create?

  • Why should they trust me?

  • What should they do next?

If its hard to answer those questions, it will be hard to get clients as well.

Clarity creates momentum.

4 - Use your own story

People don’t only want tips and advice.

AI can spit out 50 million tips in 2 seconds.

That’s not interesting.

People want proof that you have lived something.

  • Write about what you struggled with.

  • What you learned.

  • What changed your mind.

  • What you would do differently now.

Your story is not separate from your business.

It’s part of why people trust you.

People follow real people.

So mix it up. Share tips and share your story.

Both of those posts went viral.

The second one went viral yesterday.

Most people loved it, and some got really upset. Classic viral content 😅 It always has those two components.

Don’t worry, I’m used to it.

👉 This post got more likes, a little less impressions than the post above - and way more people downloading the visual and signing up to my newsletter.

By looking at the patterns (analytics) from your content, you can improve, adjust and navigate forward. It makes you understand what your target group responds to.

5 - Keep the system small

Don’t build a content system that needs perfect energy.

Trust me, you won’t have perfect energy.

Use a simple weekly rhythm:

  • Share one lesson.

  • Share one mistake.

  • Share one opinion.

  • Write about one client problem.

  • Send one newsletter that goes deeper.

Repeat.

That’s enough to start.

Building online is hard because you have to keep going when the evidence is still small.

But it compounds if you dont quit.

The data adds up.

The feedback adds up.

The small signs add up.

And then suddenly, you can see patterns.

(I love patterns and I love helping my clients find them)

That’s how you recalibrate and come back stronger.

Not everyone is wired for this. Because there’s a lot of trial and error.

If you’re in the messy middle, keep going.

Most people quit before the market has enough time to notice.

Do not be one of them.

Keep going 👊

It will be worth it.

Hanna
