The world of work is changing

We see companies restructuring.

We see companies are getting more lean.

We still see companies doing layoffs.

It’s everywhere.

This transition is HARD for a lot of people.

AI, automation & robotics will continue to change our entire world.

This is my advice on how to prepare:

  1. Take ownership & invest in yourself

Ask: what do I need to learn to stay relevant in the job market?

  1. Stop relying on one income stream

Diversify & build multiple income streams.

  1. Build your personal brand & audience

You will get a lot more options by actively putting yourself out there.

Invest in yourself to stand out from the crowd. Image: unknown

This will give you:

→ More skills & knowledge (attract opportunity into your life)

→ More independence

→ More freedom

→ More options

→ Less worry

I’ve been building audience and posting content every single day since January 2022.

If I were to start all over, this is what I would do:

♻️ 8 STEPS - START HERE

  1. Decide what you want to be known for:

    - Who are you writing for?
    - What’s your goal with building an audience?

  2. Update your profile

    - It should be crystal clear, who you are, what you do and how to buy/work with you
    - If your profile isn’t clear, you will not be able to convert traffic to revenue and inbound - I have two guides that you can follow

  3. Decide on topics to write about:

    - To provide value to your target audience, you need to understand them: what matters to them, what they care about, what their pain is

  4. Decide how often you are going to post per week:

    - I recommend newbies to start with 3 posts per week
    - Put it in the calendar - both posting AND engaging on the platform

  5. Decide on format:

    - If I posted 3 times per week, I would do one personal story, one text + template and one visual with text

  6. Learn how to write specific content

    - Generic content is everywhere on social media. This is how you write specific content - this is how you write personal stories
    - You need a hook to grab attention, you need the meat/body of the post (add space between sentences) and you need a call-to-action at the end. Keep it simple.

  7. Learn how to play the game of social media

    - Learn from someone who knows what moves the needle and what doesn’t. There’s a lot of noise out there, so ask for help from someone who knows and avoid wasting your time.

  8. Get started and never stop

    - Most people who start posting can’t stay consistent. So they quit. This is a unique opportunity for the people who can.

Commit, double down on it and never quit.
