🔥 Help your people find you
The purpose of broad LinkedIn posts.
On LinkedIn you might have seen that creators often post broad posts.
It’s very common that people who don’t know how audience growth works think this lacks strategy, knowledge, direction or overall focus on reaching their target audience.
They couldn’t be more wrong.
The purpose of broad LinkedIn posts is to build reach.
And helping more people find you.
You should have at least 1 of those posts per week.
Preferably more than 1 in the beginning.
You should not be everything for everyone (like the pizza above).
But a part of your strategy should be to increase your reach, break the silo that sometimes LinkedIn puts us in and tap into more networks out there.
Because that’s how you expand your reach and allow for more people to find you and buy from you.
Here are 3 examples of this:
A really good poll also does this job well.
Like the one below.
It welcomes lots of people to participate and give their take.
All of those people won’t be the right target audience for me, some will and some will guaranteed have my target audience as their 2nd connection.
Your goal should be to engage 1st, 2nd and 3rd connections.
That’s how you grow your account and reach over time and make an impact.
+ avoid stagnating.
You can still join the poll if you want? Go here
Have you tried broad posts in your content strategy?
Until next time,
