Today I want to talk to you about SALES FUNNELS.
This is important for every business owner out there.
Something Iām seeing more and more of lately, is that a lot of people donāt understand their sales funnel.
Let me explain it in a super simple way:
When you build audience on social media, you create and post top-of-funnel content.
High level stuff that creates awareness.
Your social media posts are traffic drivers.
When you consistently show up in peopleās feed with great content, people want to follow you.
You create interest.
This is what we want, because now you can start warming them up with your content.
Day after day after day after dayā¦ā¦.
We measure top of the funnel with likes, reposts, comments and followers.
If youāre a business owner, your goal is to get them further down the funnel.
Why do you want that?
Because you want to make the gap smaller.
You donāt just want them liking your social media posts.
You want to engage them.
And teach them about your services.
You want to build trust.
You want to pull them closer to you.
To one day convert into a purchase.
How do you do that?
Thereās a lot of ways:
A newsletter
A lead magnet
A webinar
A giveaway
Consistently showing up and providing value
Spending time on your website or landing page
A low priced paid product (like a guide or an ebook) that can lead to them wanting to go for one of your medium or high ticket products/services.
To convert traffic into inbound, revenue and purchases you need to:
create products with different price levels.
The gap between a social media post and an offering for $2-5000 is huge.
Or even a $500 call with you.
Especially if youāre selling a service that will require someone to make a big change in their life.
Something that is new to them.
You want to find ways to close that gap.
And make it easier for them to buy from you.
And often you need to educate them for a period of time.
Thatās why you want to spend time understanding and developing your funnel so you can build it with intention.
It starts with understanding your customer:
their challenges
their pain points
who they are
what they care about
what they want
And doing things that doesnāt scale.
Thatās how you stand out from the crowd.
Think: traffic driver ā landing page ā conversion
Once you nail this, put it on repeat.
Thatās why I love content on social media because people will self-qualify and reach out to you when they are ready.
