🔥 How to start creating content on social + Black Friday Sale
“I want to post content on social, but where do I start?”
This is a question I get a lot.
This is exactly what I teach people in the personal branding programs that I run; start with asking yourself these questions:
What’s your goal with posting on LinkedIn?
Who are you writing for?
What’s your goal with building an audience?
Define your ideal customer profile (ICP) - who are they?
To provide value to your target audience, you need to understand them.
If you ask yourself these questions, it will become so much easier to create content.
And when you understand their goals, needs and pain points…
You can use that as a foundation for the content you create.
This doesn’t come easy for anyone in the beginning.
The start is always the hardest part.

OK back to defining your ideal client to be able to create and publish content on social media…
Another thing I started with 5-6 months ago, is to picture my ideal client on a spectrum.
Who is the person who is ready to buy from me tomorrow?
Who is the person who is ready in 6-12 months?
When I have asked myself these questions, in combination with also asking my clients directly, I have reached a whole new level of understanding of how to build and position my content.
I receive between 5-22 inbound leads per day from my content on LinkedIn.
So this is worth spending time on.
When you define the ideal client on the buyer spectrum, make sure to remember the core of your offering and how the different buyers need different content to meet them where they currently are.
Because you will gradually warm up your followers on social media through your content, and followers will self-qualify and reach out to you when they are ready to buy / work with you.
And don’t forget:
People on LinkedIn want to be educated, inspired and entertained.
Remember these buckets when you create content.
And where people are during the week.
Teaching people something on a Sunday is no point.
It’s better to share educational content on a Tuesday.
And inspiring and uplifting content on a Sunday.
And something light and entertaining on Friday’s.
Social media is all about creating emotions.
People want to relate to other people.
Learn from other people and be inspired.
And people want to have a good laugh.
We all need it.
