But what do I write about?

Here are 5 simple angles you can start from:

1 - Interview people you find inspiring.

This is a great way to learn loads and build a massive network.

Most people will say yes.

2 - If you post content on social, you can easily take a few of the best performing posts and add more meat to it.

Use LinkedIn analytics and see which performed the best.

3 - Share 1 tip per week on a specific topic you know really well.

"But will people find this interesting?"

YES.

If you are interested in it, there are definitely more people who are.

This is how you iterate forward and create your tone of voice and newsletter niche.

4 - Summarise 5 learnings/media/articles/events from a specific field every week.

You will be surprised how much people appreciate this.

People follow people.

And people love packaged, summarized updates and shortcuts.

5 - Write about your life and share it with the world - build in public.

"But I'm not where I want to be"

“But I have nothing of interest to share”

That’s not true.

You are interesting.

You have a ton of experience.

You have lots of things to share.

You just need to learn how.

Most people are working towards goals and dreams.

People LOVE following people who are sharing wins, failures, lessons and observations along the way.

We want to follow REAL people.

If it feels too hard in the beginning or you lack the time → hire a ghostwriter in the beginning.

And then gradually take over the process, bit by bit.

Writing online changed my life.
