I’m talking about Pieter Levels and he makes $3 million a year while traveling the world.

A lot of people can’t travel the world like that due to family obligations etc but what we can learn from Pieter is how to build a successful online business.

Pieter is the founder of the most successful remote job board (there are plenty of remote job boards out there who makes no money)

→ His success hit rate is about ~5%.

This may sound low but is actually really impressive.

Again: no solopreneur business is a one-person business. It’s one employee yes, but always loads of micro-outsourcing.

He is an exceptional marketer and more founders should learn from him.

What can we learn from Pieter?

🌍 We can work from anywhere.

💻 Tech is cheap today - you don’t need VC funding.

🤓 You can get far by having some self-distance (love his top banner on X for example 🤣) and building in public; sharing both wins and losses.

🧑🏽‍💻 Solve problems and build ONLINE.

🚢 Ship, ship, ship and then ship some more.

🐫 Bootstrap your company as far as you can.

🔥 Learn by doing - iterate until you find what works.
