The fact is, most people don’t know what they want.
So they end up copying what others are doing.
And they end up following the crowd.
Which makes many end up in regret.
The best way to stand out from the crowd, grab attention, build a valuable following and build a business is to do your own thing.
And lean in to your weird self.
And be ok with people disagreeing with you.
And questioning you.
Because they will when you decide to create your own path.

In a world where everyone is doing the same stuff, chasing the same jobs, promotions, sounding the same, posting the same content, creating the same products, apps, programs etc → do your thing.
It can be uncomfortable at times.
Let me correct myself: IT IS uncomfortable very often.
But it is way more rewarding in the long run, trust me.
AND think about it: those are the people we want to follow.
Real, imperfect people who stand for something. Who have the guts to have an opinion and be human.

That’s a common thing a lot of people struggle with.
→ Your niche is YOU.
Your personal brand should therefore be a mix of your unique:
experiences
voice
career
knowledge
skills
thoughts
interests
observations
failures
wins
learnings
opinions
obsessions
the way you write
the way you sound
Start by asking yourself:
What do you want to be known for?
Who do you help? (who’s your target audience)
How do you help them?
What are you good at?
Where do you want to be in 2, 5 or 10 years?
That’s all you need to get going.
You need a direction.
And every single day you move in that direction.
And hit that publish button.
When you get started with posting, you will find your voice.
Repeat after me: “I will find my voice”.
And your voice will change a million times.
Like it should.
This is an ITERATIVE process.
So, not knowing means:
→ You’re on the right path.
And exactly where you should be.
