(yes, the snow has arrived in Sweden)
Two days ago I wrote about a sensitive topic on LinkedIn.
Some got furious. A few threw insults at me.
What I wrote about needed to be said.
Most people agreed and even thanked me for speaking up.
The point is simple:
If you want better results on LinkedIn, you have to improve.
That goes for all of us.
Gender has nothing to do with it.
The 3 groups of people that understood this dominated the comment section and my DMs:
Entrepreneurs (they know nothing comes for free, building is hard)
People with big audiences on LinkedIn (they know what it takes to get to that level)
Successful women who have spent their careers in male dominated fields (we have this in common)
When I started posting daily on LinkedIn 4 years ago I asked myself if anyone would listen.
I told myself yes.
I got crickets in the beginning - we all do.
Despite how difficult it was I continued to show up daily.
Then..slowly I started getting more and more engagement on my posts.
People started listening.
Most of the big voices (people with big audiences) back then was men.
This is still the case.
I did what I always do when I want to learn something new and improve my performance:
I watched what successful people in this field do.
I listened to the people who had done well on the platform.
I studied what worked.
I learned the rules.
I experimented.
I applied what I learnt from them.
And amplified it with my voice and perspective.
This made me surpass many of them.
I kept learning formats, the algorithm, and what moves the needle.
I stayed away from toxic people. I doubled down on what I enjoy and do well.
YOU CAN TOO.

Fix your profile. Who you are. What you do. Who you help.
Write a headline that states the outcome you deliver.
Use a banner with one next step.
A simple content system
List 20 subtopics under each pillar.
Post one useful thing per day in your voice.
Wins.
Lessons.
Mistakes.
Numbers.
Distribution that compounds
Spend 1 to 2 hours commenting where there is traffic.
Turn your best comments into posts and newsletter notes.
Document everything in Notion or a spreadsheet. Repeat what works.
Rules that help
If youβre building a business today, you should make LinkedIn a daily habit β put it in your calendar.
You succeed with your business by building distribution.
Help people to find you.Remove distractions.
Learn from the best.
Stop at good enough.
Ignore trolls.
Learn in public.
Repurpose your best content.
Develop your business based on the feedback you are getting from your audience.
With time you will see more and more people finding you and your posts.
Posting + commenting will eventually compound π
