Most people are about to enter the busiest part of the year.
Summer is ending.
Kids are going back to school.
Work is picking up again.
Calendars are filling up.
Clients are coming back.
Projects that were “for after summer” suddenly need to happen NOW.
And before you know it, September, October and November become one long stretch of:
Calls
Deadlines
Follow-ups
School logistics
Work trips
Launches
Invoices
Meetings
People needing things from you
This is where a lot of people make the same mistake. Trust me, I was one of them for yeears....
They try to push through.
They tell themselves they just need to be more disciplined 😵💫
And yes, that of course matters.
But it's never enough.

We’re not machines
Most of us need something ahead of us that makes life feel bigger than the next task.
Something to look forward to.
Something that's already in the calendar.
Things like:
A dinner with friends
A weekend away
A concert
A long walk
A day off
A hotel night
A morning with no plans
A trip with your family
A date night
It doesn't have to be expensive or impressive.
It just has to be something you actually WANT and look forward to.
📌 In case you missed it:
Because when life becomes too full of obligations, everything starts to feel heavy. Even the business you chose to build.
A lot of ambitious people are very good at creating things to achieve, and very bad at creating things to look forward to.
They can plan a launch, but not a weekend.
They can schedule client calls, but not dinner with someone they love.
They can make space for everyone else’s priorities, but not for their own life.
And then we wonder why we feel flat…
A hard week feels different when there is something waiting at the end of it.
A stressful month feels different when you know there is a break coming.
A full calendar feels different when one of the things in it is there because you chose it.
Because the coming months will get busy.
They always do.
And if you don't deliberately put things into your life that give you energy, work will take every open space.
So here is my recommendation:
Before this week ends, book one thing you can look forward to.
Something for your LIFE. Something you enjoy.
Something that fills you up.
Put it in the calendar before the calendar fills up with everything else.
Because a good life is not something you get to enjoy only after the work is done.
The work will never get done.
Give yourself something to look forward to.
You will need it more than you think.

Hanna
