I meet people all the time who:
Prioritise building the perfect website
Spend months on designing the perfect logo
Spend forever packaging their offer
None of those things matter if you have no distribution.
Distribution = traffic.
Traffic = how people who need your service finds you.
There are 2 types of traffic:
Paid
Organic
Paid traffic will require that you have a budget to spend.
And it will require that people already trust you.
If people donβt trust you, your paid ad is just noise.
Thatβs why I always recommend building audience through organic content.
And build up trust.
Organic distribution is free.
You will either need to learn how to do it yourself.
OR:
Pay someone to do it for you.
A great service without distribution is invisible.
You can be the best in your niche. If no one sees you, it does not matter. Distribution is the moat. It is how you get found, trusted, and bought.

1 - Decide what you want to be known for
Choose one platform and one target audience.
Write a clear promise in ten words or fewer.
Example: I help B2B founders get inbound leads on LinkedIn.

Teach one thing.
Show one result.
Show your experience.
Share one client story.
Share an observation.
Share an experience.
Show what you stand for.
Keep it simple and repeatable.

3 - Build an email list
Create a one page lead magnet that solves one problem fast.
Add it to your Featured and your banner.
Send one short email every week.
An email list is a must for every online builder.
It gives you ownership.
4 - Borrow reach
Comment daily on ten accounts your buyers already follow.
Offer value.
Ask for two warm intros each week. Say thank you and give back.
5 - Make your profile convert
Create a headline that states the outcome.
Design a banner with a next step.

Make the About section in short chunks with a clear CTA.
