People are already on that platform so generally if you make good content you will get people to read it.
My LinkedIn newsletter The Future of Work converts really well to revenue. I keep it super short and to the point. I add visuals, and always, always a new banner for each week.
At the end of each edition I pitch my products and services.

It takes time to build up.
Itās harder to earn someoneās email address.
Youāre competing with everyone and everything that wants peopleās attention.
Still, I canāt recommend it enough.

I wish I had started building mine sooner. Better late than never.
